2016 is the year to buy a home : Going on record as saying 100% this is a FACT and you would be CRAZY not to buy if buying is an option for you! (Disclaimer: I have no idea what I am talking about)

Interesting article on CNN.com caught my attention. They make four good points that 2014 is the year to buy a house. Article can be read here.

The arguments for buying are:

1- Home prices will finally calm down.
2- More homes will hit the market
3- Dirt cheap mortgages could disappear
4- Rents will still hurt

I couldn’t agree with them more based on what I am seeing in the trenches. If buying is an option for you you AND you have a five year or greater expected tenancy then you would be crazy not to buy.

Disclaimer: I am an active real estate broker and general contractor that specializes in building homes on spec so I am biased. Even with that said (and I say it 75% joking) everything is lining up to make NOW the time to buy if you think you want to buy in the next few years.
